Dr. Patricia Gore earned a Psy.D degree in clinical psychology in 1996 from Argosy University (GSPP). She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia. She has been in private practice for thirteen years. Previously, she served as the director of an Independent Living program for adolescents in a non-profit agency. Dr. Gore began her career as a registered nurse. Her twelve years of counseling and education experience as a RN with severely mentally ill adolescents add depth to her psychology practice. She currently specialized in trauma (including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse), depression, loss, grief anxiety, chronic illness, behavior problems, and parenting issues. Her clients include: children, adolescents, families and adults. Dr. Gore as a certified Play Therapist Supervisor, trained in EMDR, and certified in Sand Tray Therapy. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Georgia Psychological Association (GPA) and the American professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSA).
Dr. Meredith Burns earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Widener University and has been licensed as a psychologist since 1998 and has been in private practice since 2003. Prior to this, Dr. Burns provided individual therapy in a program for sexually abused children and adolescents, as well as assessments and therapy for adolescents in an outdoor treatment program. Dr. Burns also worked as Director of Counseling in a therapeutic boarding school for oppositional adolescents. Dr. Burns currently provides individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She specializes in trauma (including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse), domestic violence, depression, anxiety, grief, behavior problems and parenting issues. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Georgia Psychological Association (GPA) and the American professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC). Dr. Burns is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT200) and has a certification in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.
Dr. Victor Gonzalez, Jr. is a licensed psychologist with 22 years of mental health experience working directly with children, adolescents, and families, doing psychological evaluations, and as an administer. He was the clinical director of psychological services at the Devereux Center for nine years. He served as a regional school Psychologist for the Imagine Schools System for four years. Dr. Gonzalez has extensive experience with posttraumatic stress disorder, child physical and sexual abuse, sexual deviation/offending behaviors, stress management, anxiety, substance abuse, relational issues, behavior problems and learning disorders.
